The complete move guide — coming soon

You got in.
Now the hard part
actually starts.

Housing scams. BSN queues. Contracts with hidden registration blocks. Most international students find out what they should have known only after it goes wrong. We built the guide that changes that.

No spam. No commitment. Just early access when we launch.

The reality nobody tells you

Four ways students lose money, time, and sleep in their first month

Every one of these is preventable. Every one of them happens to students who didn't know what to look for.

🏠

The housing scam that looks completely real

Professional-looking listing. Quick response. Landlord 'abroad'. Deposit requested before the contract. €1,300 gone. The apartment never existed.

Happens every intake season

📋

The registration block in your contract

You signed. You moved in. Then you went to the gemeente and discovered you can't register at your address. No BSN. No bank account. Starting over.

Hidden in plain sight

The BSN delay that slows everything down

Many students only realise too late that key appointments and registration steps can take time. Without your BSN, opening a bank account, getting paid, or arranging essential admin can become much harder than expected.

Delays affect your whole setup

💸

The money you were entitled to — and never claimed

Huurtoeslag. Zorgtoeslag. OV-studentenkaart. Hundreds of euros per month in allowances that most international students never even knew to apply for.

€100–€350/month unclaimed

Who it's for

This is for you if…

You've been accepted to a Dutch university and the practical questions are already piling up

You're moving for a Bachelor's, Master's, or exchange semester — EU/EEA or non-EU

You want housing that's sorted and registered before you land — not scrambled from a hostel

You want to understand the Dutch admin system without reading 30 different government pages

You'd rather spend your energy on building a life — not troubleshooting avoidable disasters

And honestly not for you if…

Be honest with yourself

You've already moved, are fully registered, have your BSN and are completely settled

You're Dutch or have lived in the Netherlands long enough to know the system

You're doing a PhD with full institutional support handling all your admin

🇪🇺 EU / EEA students

The product covers your full journey — EHIC, BRP registration, BSN, Dutch banking, toeslagen, work rights, and OV-studentenkaart. Everything in the right order with the right templates.

🌍 Non-EU students

Every section has a dedicated Non-EU addition covering MVV, IND compliance, permit conditions, mandatory Dutch health insurance, work hour limits, and the specific admin steps that apply to you and not to EU students.

From students who moved

What they wish they'd known

I found a room that looked perfect — great price, fast response, landlord seemed friendly. He asked for a deposit before the contract. I almost paid. The red flags were all there, I just didn't know to look for them.

S

Sofia M.

Spain → Amsterdam, MSc Economics

I booked my gemeente appointment two weeks after arriving because nobody told me the wait was six weeks. I was without a BSN for almost two months. No Dutch bank account, couldn't get paid at work. The whole system locked.

T

Tanvir H.

Bangladesh → Utrecht, BSc Data Science

I lived in my room for four months before someone told me I might be eligible for huurtoeslag. By then I'd missed the backdating window. I'm convinced I left several hundred euros on the table just from not knowing.

Who built this

We made every mistake in this guide. So you don't have to.

We're not experts who studied the Netherlands from the outside. We're two Romanian students who arrived alone, knew nobody, and learned everything the hard way — then spent years helping others avoid what we went through.

Co-founders · BSc Computer Science '25

We both arrived in the Netherlands as strangers — no contacts, no family, no idea how any of it worked. We finished our Bachelor's in Computer Science in 2025. The first years cost us more than they ever should have, in money, stress, and time. We came out the other side knowing the system inside out — and spent years helping other students avoid what we went through.

In our own words

Between us we moved 9+ times in our first years. We were living illegally at points and didn't even know it — nobody told us registration was a thing.
One of us ended up in a hotel for a full month because there was no housing sorted before arrival. It drained savings and put real pressure on our families.
We were getting fined for government letters we didn't understand and kept ignoring.
We missed out on student allowances for an entire year because we had no idea we were entitled to them. Once we learned the system, we used it properly — and collected over €15,000 in grants we never had to pay back.
By the time we both finished our Bachelor's, we had lived in over 9 different places in 4 years combined.

Questions

Before you ask

We're keeping it under €100 — deliberately. This is a student product. The Starter tier (self-serve guide + all tools) will be significantly under that. Waitlist members will get early access pricing, which will be lower than the public launch price. We'll share the exact numbers before we launch.

Yes — fully. Every section of the product has a dedicated Non-EU addition covering your specific situation: MVV and IND permit, the different registration process, mandatory Dutch health insurance (basisverzekering), work hour limits on your student permit, and the compliance steps EU students don't need to worry about. You're not an afterthought in this product.

No. The product is built in phases — you can jump directly to where you are. If you're two weeks from arrival, Phase 2 (housing and pre-arrival admin) and Phase 3 (arrival week) are immediately relevant. If you've already arrived but haven't sorted your BSN or allowances, Phase 3 and 4 will close those loops. It's designed to be useful wherever you are in the process.

The core product covers the Netherlands as a whole — the admin, housing, and integration system is the same across the country. City-specific sections cover Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, The Hague, Groningen, Eindhoven, Leiden, Delft, Maastricht, and Tilburg specifically — with rent benchmarks, transport guides, municipality booking links, and local notes for each.

It's a practical digital product built to help you take action step by step. The focus is not on passive lessons — it's on giving you the tools, templates, checklists, and guidance you need in one structured place.

We're in the final build phase. When we launch, everyone on the waitlist gets an email first — before it goes public — with early access and the free scam guide. You won't hear from us with anything other than the launch email and the occasional product update. No newsletters, no courses you didn't ask for.
